Working hard to protect the common interests of our residents and the community in preserving our historic port.

Our Aims

To bring together the residential property owners, and/or occupants if tenants, and residents on matters of common interest

to consult with any owners and/or managing agent on matters that affect the interests of the Association

to preserve and improve, where required, the amenities enjoyed by residential property owners and residents

for the purpose of aforesaid, to employ solicitors, counsel, surveyors, engineers, accountants and other professional or qualified persons to advise the Association

to do such other things, ancillary to the preceding objects, as may seem desirable to the Association

to encourage and support a greater understanding of Charlestown Conservation area status and its importance as a World Heritage Site asset

Membership

Membership is open to all residential property owners or residents of Quay Road, The Old Smokehouse and other residential properties adjoining Quay Road.

Constitution

The constitution is a list of rules for the Residents Association. It sets out the aims of our group and how we will work towards those aims.

The Commitee

The committee are elected at the Annual General Meeting to carry out the business of the Residents Association.

No. Currently membership is limited to all residential property owners or residents of Quay Road, The Old Smokehouse and other residential properties adjoining Quay Road. However, as the association matures we may seek to widen the catchment and invite memberships from the wider community.

From time to time events will be organised to encourage a sense of community, everyone is welcome to participate.
